Castle of Vilagos

Castle of Vilagos was first mentioned in written form in 1318, so probably it was built in the 13th century after tatárjárás (Passing of the Tatars). This significant fortress quite often changed owners on the confine of the Turkish domination, as it was built in the target of the army of the Transylvanian monarchy.
Bohus Castle
The castle was built between 1824 and 1838 in classicistic style, mostly using the stones of Castle of Világos. You can find inside the desk of Görgey, on which Artúr Görgey signed the agreement of obedience without any conditions of the Hungarian Revolution of 1848 in 12 August 1849.

Lippa - Máriaradna – Benedictine Church and Way of the Cross
9 km from by the highway E68 Arad –Deva, in the centre of Lippa.
The Franciscan Church of Lippa is a famous pilgrim location. Its benediction picture was bought by a catholic Bosnian merchant, György Vrichonassa in 1668 from an Italian merchant; it used to decorate the altar of the old chapel, which was burnt by the Turkish in 1659, after reconquering Lippa, but the picture remained undamaged. When the church was on fire the  burning shakes flew over River Mures and fell onto the Turkish camp, set fire on their clothes and tent; the fire could not been put out till the raiser was killed. One of the Turkish soldiers swam to the other bank of the river to destroy the picture, but the hooves of the horse were stamped to the rock as if it were hot wax. The soldier died, and the print of the hooves in the rock can be seen on the wall of the church with a rhymed notice.
Also, it is an interesting legend that a maid wanted to steal one of the ornamental jewels of the benediction picture and when she climbed to the altar she petrified and she could not get off. She did not move until everyone prayed for her on the knee the next morning.
Going past the right side of the church we can get to the bottom of the Way of the Cross
